Kinhour (“the app”) is made by hurutungo LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Kinhour. The short version: we don’t collect any of your data. The app has no account to sign up for, and we don’t run servers, analytics, advertising or tracking.
The timers and events you create are stored in two places:
This can include timer names, event names (for example, a medication name you type in), durations, schedules, and when doses were marked as taken. This data is stored in your iCloud account under Apple’s Privacy Policy. We cannot access it.
When you share a timer or event, Kinhour uses Apple’s iCloud sharing. The people you invite can see that timer or event and its history. Depending on the permission you choose, they can also pause, resume, stop or update it. Participants can see details provided by iCloud, for example who created or restarted a timer.
You control sharing. You can stop sharing, or remove participants, at any time. If you leave a shared item, your copy is removed from your devices; the item stays with everyone else.
Timer and dose reminders are scheduled on your device. Kinhour also uses Apple’s push notification service so changes from people you share with can reach your device; these notifications carry no personal content. Lock Screen Live Activities are created and updated on your device.
Kinhour Premium is sold through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes the payments, and we never receive your payment details. The app checks your subscription status with Apple on your device.
Kinhour stores a small identifier for your iCloud account on your device. If you sign in to a different iCloud account, the app uses it to avoid mixing data between accounts. It never leaves your device.
Kinhour is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
If we change this policy, we’ll update it on this page and change the effective date above.
